Pas de Chat

I designed an 18-spread editorial book inspired by my long-standing passion for ballet, featuring imagery from multiple eras to highlight its evolution. The process included initial sketches, mood boards, and experimenting with various layouts before finalizing the designs in Adobe InDesign. I also produced a physical copy of the book, handling the printing, trimming, and assembly, which provided a valuable hands-on learning experience in print production.

Final Thoughts

This project let me bring together my passion for ballet and editorial design while growing my skills along the way. I learned a lot about layout, pacing, and how important it is to experiment and refine ideas. Making the physical book was especially rewarding, giving me hands-on experience with print and a better appreciation for the details that go into it. Overall, it was a challenging yet fulfilling project that helped me grow as a designer.
